Gender Neutral Policy Regulations at the Oak Brook Park District

Oak Brook Park District wants gender neutral bathrooms for children and adults??!! Apparently, on Monday, May 18, 2026, the Oak Brook Park District board majority approved regulation policy with gender neutral language that reinforces the Oak Brook Park District’s position that men who identify as women are able to walk into girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms. This Park District regulation policy “sets the standard…for maintaining control of the parks,” now inclusive with gender neutral language.

For many years, the Oak Brook Park District has spent millions to build gender neutral bathrooms and locker room, and now they want more money. Only two Park Commissioners, Mario Vescovi and Tina Chan, voted AGAINST the policy regulation!!
