Trips to Dallas, Texas

Why did a number of Park District employees take an all-expenses-paid-for trip to Dallas/Fort Worth in October, 2023? Taxpayer cost: Marriott hotel $870 each, restaurants, Uber rides, Association fees (NRPA, IPRA, Illinois Association, etc.).

There is another trip to Dallas on May 24, 2023, apparently. Employee David Thommes purchased a Southwest flight from O’Hare to Dallas for that date.
