Alcohol Purchases

According to Park District policy, alcoholic purchases are not allowed on the credit card.

Yet, there are many purchases for alcohol. It is hard to tell when staff and commissioners go out to fancy dinners, is there alcohol purchased? Another case, they went to Alter Brewing in Oak Brook in below charges, what kind of drinks do people typically order there?

Perhaps the Wine Cellar charge below is for the Wine tasting event, but overall, the policy calls alcoholic purchases inappropriate. Also, do you see a Ben & Jerry’s at Navy Pier purchase? Is that ice cream for 1-2 people?
